Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

By asking this question, the employer wants to check the stability of a candidate, in turn getting to know if he/she is willing to spend his/her expertise and skills for the organization for a long period.

Explanation:

Growing in my current position both skill wise as well as knowledge wise is my goal and I believe that can only happen if I allocate a few years for the company as it will be a mutually beneficial thing to do. My contributions will help the company grow in turn making me more experienced and confident about my roles and responsibilities.
